iPhone voice recognition software Siri has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Research in Motion Limited. When asked for comment, Siri said “Sorry, I didn’t catch that.”
Siri was a natural choice to run the struggling phone company, given her experience building Tiny Tower to a whopping 160 floors as well as the fact that she is herself a phone.
In a statement on her new position, Siri told investors, “Playing album ‘White Magic’ by ceo.”
Siri is expected to give new direction to RIM. She’s already directed the company to several restaurants, though the phone manufacturer decided to eat in after all.
Not everyone at RIM is satisfied with the new leader. An anonymous source said, “it’s a conflict of interest for an Apple phone to be running Research in Motion. I was in favor of appointing a leader that doesn’t currently work for another company, such as the robot from Rocky IV or Clippy the Paperclip.”
